| |
Arrive Mumbai CST railway station in the morning (0450hrs) and you will be transferred to your hotel. After the breakfast proceed to Essel World. This is Mumbai's only international-style theme park and amusement centre situated close to Gorai Beach. Special ferries get you across to the park and the entrance fee normally takes care of a fixed number of rides.
After the dinner, proceed back to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 04 01 Oct/2009: Mumbai/Agra |
| |
Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with the morning visit to the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive, Gate way of India and Hanging Garden. Built largely by the British around one of the best-protected natural harbours in the world, Mumbai is India’s strategic economic centre. The city is also is home to the country’s prolific Bollywood film industry, which cranks out more feature than any place in the world. In the afternoon explore Juhu Beach or shop the city’s labyrinth of alleyways and colourful bazaars.
In the evening you will be dropped at the railway station for boarding your train for Agra departing at 1900 hrs.

You will be met on arrival at Agra in the evening and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure

In the morning proceed for a guided full day sight seeing tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal- possibly the most recognised of all India’s landmarks. Enjoy a visit to the colossal 15th century Agra Fort and Itmad- Ud- Daulah’s tomb.
In the evening you are free to do the shopping at the nearby bazaar. After the dinner, proceed back to your hotel for the overnight stay.

After the breakfast you will be driven to Jaipur. Enroute, enjoy a visit to the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Late this evening arrive Jaipur.

This morning enjoy a guided sight seeing tour of this Pink City. Places of interest are the 15th century Amber Fort, City Palace, followed by a visit to Jantar Mantar space observatory and if time left visit Hawa Mahal also.
Later in the evening, you’ll be transferred to Delhi (06hours drive).

This morning enjoy a guided sight seeing of Old Delhi; taking in the Red Fort, Jama Masjid mosque and Chandni Chowk bazaar area.
This afternoon, enjoy a tour of New Delhi, designed by the eminent Sir Edward Lutyens. Highlights include the India Gate, Rajpath and bustling Connaught Place, Bahai Temple, Birla Mandir, Humayan’s Tomb, Rashtrapati Bhawan, The Parliament House and Rajghat A visit is also made to Qutab Minar, essentially a massive tower built to proclaim the arrival of Islam in the 11th century.
After the dinner, proceed back to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Explore the regions left on yesterday and in the evening we shall make a stop for your shopping in one of the best bazaar in the city.

Morning at leisure or proceed for short sight seeing of places anything left. Get on to the coach heading towards Chandigarh (05hours drive) in the evening.

Today you will be taken for a visit to the Golden Temple- built in 1803 and made of marble, copper and pure leaf gold, the unforgettable Jallian Wala Bagh and obviously to Wagah- the only border crossing between India and Pakistan. Don’t miss the sunset “Retreat” ceremony, where the changing of the guards and ceremonial lowering of the flags is performed with great pomp.
Later in the evening, you’ll be transferred back to Amritsar
